my 12 year old daughter has swcah and has always been scared of school this is like a phobia? has any body else experienced this??   thinking of home educating as she says she just cant go?

nicola: my 3yr old son just diganosed
Hi would love any information or advise as was told yesterday that my 3yr old son has cah he doesn’t have to salt loss one. My head is buzzing at the moment as so much to take in he has been put on hydrocortisone 3 times a day. He is fine in himself, worried about having children etc

I was wondering if there is many people with the pump in the Uk. My son is 24 and has been having a few worries the main one being the constant stomach problems. He was at the hospital last week and his consultant said that she did not know much about it but it must still be in the experimental state...

I’m having a terrible time with insomnia. I was dx’ed with locah sept ’09 and put on pred. I take 2 mg in the morning and 2 mg at bedtime. I have strated taking 3 in the morning and 1 around 5 in the evening to see if that will help...

Chloe: Hydrocortisone injection
I’ve just been prescribed hydrocortisone injections for the first time. Any advice on how to do it would be appreciated. GP was pretty useless when I asked. I know it’s into the muscle, does it hurt?!

I am 38 and have had SWCAH all my life. My doctor at the hospital seems a bit clueless about CAH and I don’t think he has many patients with it. I too feel that sometimes I have too much cortisol and loads of energy then the opposite a few hours later and I just want to sleep...
